U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework - October 6, 2015 Update

Updated: October 10, 2015.

Per the U.S. Dept. of Commerce's Safe Harbor website:

On October 6, 2015, the European Court of Justice issued a judgment declaring as “invalid” the European Commission’s Decision 2000/520/EC of 26 July 2000 “on the adequacy of the protection provided by the safe harbour privacy principles and related frequently asked questions issued by the US Department of Commerce.

Despite the ruling, Roadmap remains committed to protecting user privacy. Until an alternative solution is found, Roadmap will continue to honor the spirit of the Safe Harbor framework, which includes remaining in compliance with the Framework's original terms, conditions, and procedures.

For reference, please see Roadmap's U.S. Dept. of Commerce Safe Harbor profile.
