There are lots of tasks that we undertake that repeat on a weekly, monthly, yearly or other basis such as writing blogs or newsletters and delivering monthly reports. However at the moment these todos have to be manually added each month, what would be much simpler is if we were able to add them as recurring todos in the same way recurring events are added.

For us this would be useful for recurring project meetings and team meetings - these can really eat into the day / week for resource availability
Yes, this will be great, because we need the same function or something like make a Copy of a todo list within the project.
