Show the Basecamp comments on To Do items in Roadmap. Allow comments on to do items in Roadmap.
In Basecamp, you can put comments on a to-do item. I would like to be able to see those comments in Roadmap as well as to be able to add additional comments if needed.
112 votesWe are evaluating the best way to incorporate 3rd party collaboration — e.g. comments in Basecamp and other (future) integrations — in Roadmap. We do not want to reinvent the collaboration already provided by other apps.

Add a traditional calendar view
My team would love to see projects and milestones in a traditional calendar view, as well as the gantt and list views.

Recurring Availability for Resources
I'd like to see the ability to scheduled recurring events for individual resources.
For example, we have resources who are only available on Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs, and even even though the resource is set up as part time with a certain number of hours available, those hours are spread across all five days of the work week.
It would be great to be able to specify days that they are not available, or conversely select only the days that they are available.

Support Basecamp v.3
Do you know if Roadmap is compatible with Basecamp version 3, and if not, do you have a timeframe for when you think it will be?

Create an iOS app for an overview of all projects.
I want to be able to show my management an overview of the running projects via iPhone or iPad.

Be able to enter a portion of a day in the Team Calendar
It would be nice to be able to set a portion of a day in the Team Calendar instead of having to use full days. Sometimes my staff might take an afternoon or morning off and we have to enter that elsewhere as a work item or miscellaneous task to account for it.
Ideally it would be nice to be able to enter the specific amount of time away for a specific day but if that's too difficult, perhaps if there was the ability to select, full, half, quarter and eighth of a day options when entering an event in…

Schedule custom reports
I would like to be able to create custom email reports (using my custom views and filters) that could be scheduled to email to a select group on a regular basis.
Thanks for your consideration.

Recurring Todos
There are lots of tasks that we undertake that repeat on a weekly, monthly, yearly or other basis such as writing blogs or newsletters and delivering monthly reports. However at the moment these todos have to be manually added each month, what would be much simpler is if we were able to add them as recurring todos in the same way recurring events are added.

Allowing formula based calculation on Project attribute
Hi,
I have been looking if it is possible to create an attribute whose value will be dependant on the attributes which are already created. For example, I have created an attribute called project value which has got currency in it.
Then I have created three attributes with currency in it. Now I want to create an attribute which will run the sum of these three attributes or multiplication or minus or divide between the attributes.
Also it would be nice if we can select the attributes and write a formula on which these works. (like combination of plus or…

Integrate with GMail to attach related emails to a project
Project resources would be able to view email communication timeline - eliminates redundancy between communicating within Roadmap and communicating through email. See Nutshell CRM for a good example. Thanks!

Add the ability to change to-do list colors in the Gantt chart (like we do with projects already)
We have different departments in our company and it would be great to be able to see them color coded inside the project on the gantt chart. (right now we can only change project colors). We love colors... they always make it easier to organize things visually ;)

Integrate with Basecamp 3
Are there plans to integrate Roadmap with Basecamp 3? https://github.com/basecamp/bc3-integrations
Our company is interested in moving some of our projects to Basecamp 3, but we don't want to lose the connection to our Roadmap projects.

Adding and Indicating a "Note" on a To-do
On the Grid view of the Work tab, it would be helpful to be able to add a Note to a specific to-do instead of the entire list. Once a Note has been added to the to-do, it should be indicated on the Grid view along with Resource, Project Role, Effort, etc.

Add the ability to update project templates
Often we need to tweak or add to project templates as we continue using them so it would be very helpful to be able to actually edit templates.
